Django Unchained

Django_Unchained_PosterDr Schultz a bounty hunter buys Django, a slave, to help him identify the brittle brothers, a trio of ruthless killers. In exchange for helping locate the brothers, Schultz will free Django from slavery and give him $75 and a horse. The arrangement goes very well and through the winter Django continues to assist Schultz enjoying being able to “shoot white folks money”. After the winter Schultz offers to help Django find and rescue his wife who has been sold to a brutal plantation owner Calvin Candie.

I am not a huge Tarintino fan, I don’t think any of his films have lived up to “Pulp Fiction” and “Reservoir Dogs” but I think this film, will, like those films, become a Tarintino classic. He has managed to make a film which is really funny, riveting and really really tense. The acting is fantastic particularly, Christopher Waltz (Schultz) who is up for an Oscar and Dicaprio (Candie). I have nothing bad to say about this film, its awesome and even though its nearly three hours long I could have watched it for much longer.
