When 12 alien spaceships touch down in various locations around the world,linguistic expert louise banks is sent in to try and communicate with the extraterrastials. as the world descends into a deepening climate of fear & distrust banks rushes to try and save the day.
This film looks great, it is directed by Denis Villeneuve who also directed Prisoners and the upcoming Blade Runner 2049,the sound is also fantastic, the acting, particularly Amy Adams as Louise Banks is very good. However the story, although very interesting, and not your regular action and explosions etc, in my opinion, came up a bit short and is not the deep thought provoking story its been made out to be. Its difficult to discuss it here without ruining it for you so my advice is too watch it, because it is an entertaining film and feel free to let me know what you think.
