The Killers of the Flower Moon

I read David Granns’s book earlier this year and really enjoyed it so I was really looking forward to seeing the film. Overall, I enjoyed the film. At 3.5 hours it is a long film, I wasn’t bored, but I think this might have been better as a box set as some crucial parts of the story were hardly mentioned.

I wanted to feel rage at the injustice of how the Osage were treated right back to losing there original homelands and the racism they experienced but the story just seemed to focus on Mollie, Ernest and Bill Hale and I felt that Jesse Plemon, who is a great actor, was miscast as Tom White the FBI agent and again little was inluded about Tom Whites backstory who was a fascinating character in the book.

Looks great, well acted 7.5/10

Talk To Me

A group of friends discover how to summon spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.

Really enjoyed this, 90 minutes of edge of the seat supernatural horror. I think I even squealed at one point!

Great fun, 9/10

The Killer

An assasin misses his shot and the client wants to clean up the resulting fallout but the assassin strikes back.

Directed by David Fincher, so it looks great but its just a mediocre thriller really.
