Ryan Bingham(Clooney) is hired by firms all over the usa to make their staff redundant. His cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is about to get ten million frequent flyer miles and after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.
When I saw the trailer for this film I thought “yawn, looks pretty boring” When the film got 6 academy award nominations I thought there must be something in it.
Well, there isn’t. Its OK, fairly entertaining but that’s it really. Clooney is pretty good but to be honest I was completely unmoved and I found the characters really shallow.
Give it a miss.
