Quite a storm blew in Sunday night and we had lots of wind & rain but snow has fell above 400m. Yesterday Emma stayed with the corkys and k & I went shopping and bought Emmas first pair of walking boots. She was really chuffed and put them to good use when we went for a walk though the woods up to the waterfall. The weather is looking good today so we’re going for a walk at Tarn Hows. Tommorrow is looking even better so corky & I are going to get up before Dawn and head up Fairfield. Can’t wait!

Ah, I remember walking around Tarn Hows when I was a yoof! Very nice part of the country. I seem to remember reading that it’s actually a man-made lake.
It is man made but really beautiful. Had a perfect conditions on Fairfield. Will blog photos this weekend when we get home.
