Bored, with a well off husband. Suzanne trains to be a physiotherapist and her husband agrees to finance the fix up a consulting room for her in their backyard. When Suzanne meets the man hired to do the refurbishment, the mutual attraction is sudden and intense. Suzanne falls in completely in love and decides to follow her heart….
Another amazingly well acted role by Kristen Scott Thomas (see “I’ve loved you so long”). Although the is a story that has been played out many times this is told quite differently. She chooses her man and then her love for him becomes all consuming to the point that there is no way she can return to her normal life. Even though she is quite blatant about her affair you are left considering just who was the bad guy in their marriage?
An extremely well directed film which really the develops the changes the characters go through.
