Had a good weekend which was made longer by the strike on Friday. It was quite convenient actually, as I had loads to do that day and it was lurvely to have a lie in!
The Caples came over to stay for the weekend. The weather was generally rubbish so we did lots of lots of mooching which is good.
Its K’s birthday on Tuesday so on Saturday night the Corkys came for tea, a few beers and a slice of hedgehog cake!
Sunday, we started to rip our kitchen out. I totally enjoyed it I love a bit of vandalism! The new boiler is being installed this week then over the weekend I’ll get the rest ripped out, rewire, and next week Paul and I will put the new one in. I couldn’t believe how manky some of our cupboards were, all sticky and greasy, what slobs we are!
Lewis was good all weekend until Sunday evening when he decided to demonstrate his lung capacity and I have to say its pretty impressive! It seems hard to believe in a few months time we’ll have to deal with that. It was alright this time as I just went down to the bottom of the garden and had a beer while al tried to calm him!
