Having discovered alien life forms a deep space probe crashes in Mexico releasing the aliens and causing the Americans and Mexicans to enforce a quarantine zone. A photojournalist is hired by a wealthy newspaper owner to get his daughter back to the states from San Jose and guess what they have to go through the quarantine zone which is apparently full of alien beasties.
Sounds ok right? A nice bit of sci fi/ horror to veg out and enjoy. Do not be fooled – this turns into some weird story about this couple getting off with each other or not. You hardly see any monsters and it is dead boring. The cinematography however is excellent and for this I have given it an extra 2 points.
