Kings Speech

King George VI seeks help for his stammer from speech tharapist Lionel Logue. The two men become friends as they work together. Edward abdicates and George becomes King and relies on Logue to direct him through his radio broadcast which he makes on the day Britain goes to war with Germany at the start of the Second World War.

This an fantastic british film making, a great story, wonderful acting and well directed. The only problem I have with these films is when you sit down to watch it you know exactly what’s going to happen and how its going to end. So even though its an extremely well made film on all levels It probably wouldn’t be in my fave films list because I didn’t feel immersed in the story. (To be honest I probably enjoyed “Tangled” more than this.) That said don’t miss it.
