A story about a man with an incredible sense of smell who becomes obsessed with preserving the perfect scent, the smell of young beautiful women.
So he bonks 12 girls on the head, covers them in fat which absorbs the smell and creates a super perfume. These murders don’t go unnoticed and he is eventually caught and sentenced to death.
When he is due to be executed he opens the bottle of super perfume and here is the only interesting scene of the film, the executioner and the hundreds of townspeople who have come to watch him die are so intoxicated by this super perfume they all decide he’s a lovely chap and shouldn’t be executed and then they all decide to have a huge orgy!
A well made film but a bit boring (apart from the orgy scene..)
