Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal), wakes up on a train traveling to Chicago. He finds that to to everyone on the train he appears as someone else. As he comes to grips with this, the train car explodes, killing everyone aboard. He regains consciousness inside a cockpit and through a screen, an Air Force Captain verifies Stevens’ identity. She explains Stevens is in the “Source Code”, an experimental device, that allows its user to experience the last eight minutes of a person’s life within an alternate timeline and that his job is to find the bomber.
Its directed by Duncan Jones who made the excellent“Moon”. A really enjoyable sci-fi with a good story.
