Today we went on the boat which does the mail run to the “Permanents” around the Marlborough Sounds. The weather was gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw amazing scenery; dolphins,(it was so cool to watch them following the boat) seals and Emma got to help deliver the mail. It was also really interesting to get just a little insight into how people live out there.

The trip on the Post Boat is great. Did you get to see the piglets? The story goes that none of them has a name so people don’t get too attached to them when they finally get the chop!
