Well its all over now we are on our way home. What a superb holiday we’ve had. New Zealand is an amazing country. Incredibly beautiful, with a tremendous feeling of space and freedom.
So pleased that we have been able to spend this time with Emma before she starts school later this year. And it so good to spend time with Liz, Paul, Evie, George, Ben & J you made us so welcome guys. Thank you so much!
Yesterday I dragged the girls down to Waihi Beach to watch the sunrise. A perfect end to our holiday.

It was really good to see you guys. Sounds like you had a great time. You know the Lavery’s run an ‘open house’ so you’re more than welcome to come and visit anytime. It will probably have to be South Australia next time though!!!!! See you soon.
P.S. I love the photo of Emma on the rope swing at the beach. When I saw it, it took me right back to my childhood and those late summer evenings in 1977 which I still remember to this day! Jeez I’m getting old.
