During our stay at the laverys I noticed Evie was reading the book and it looked pretty good so I downloaded it, got addicted and read the trilogy in about two weeks.
An adaptation of a book is often disappointing when it goes on the big screen but this one definitely isn’t the script has stayed loyal to the book and its paced out really well. Lots of dodgy shaky camera work at the beginning though but I think this is too just suggest some of the violence so it could be shown to younger audiences.
Jennifer Lawrence is really good in the role of Katniss. The scriptwriter has also not made her too sexy or over stated her relationship with Peeta.
Jennifer lawrence’s breakthrough film “Winters Bone” is also really worth a watch.
