Where was shaun?

Had a great weekend despite the extremely dodgy weather.
Saturday, we went to the Village Jubilee Fete and beer festival. We had a great time and I have discovered I am crap at Welly wanging. When I chucked the welly I narrowly missed the guys taking the money – ooppss!
Corky was taking the pee but then went & did exactly the same!! I am determined to better next time and have discovered some handy tips on how to wang your welly. We also had a go in the wheelbarrow race where the girls had to retrieve various vegetables needless to say we didn’t do too well but it was great fun.


From the beer festival I really recommend “Honey ale” from the fat cat brewery and “Red dawn” by the red squirrel brewery – Yum!
After the fete we had a barbie which was lovely but pretty chilly!
Sunday it rained all day and I spent all day in the garden digging a channel to install a data cable down to the summerhouse. I was pretty wet and muddy!
Monday we went for a walk with the Richard, Carolyn and their two dogs to the compasses for lunch and another beer festival (wahey) guess what? it rained however once we got there it stopped and we had a nice afternoon supping “Old Growler” and munching burgers. It was a lovely walk, Emma walked the 6 miles without a complaint I think the dogs kept her going.

Today we went over to the Corkys and round to their neighbours for a barbie so glad they had a nice big house because guess what – it rained but we had a really good time.
A right good weekend.
