Lawyer Arthur Kipps is sent to spooky Eel Marsh House to sort out the affairs of the recently deceased Alice Drablow. While there he is haunted by the woman in Black using letters he has found he starts to put together what happened to her and what her intentions are…
Its all pretty spooky and quite tense but Daniel Radcliffe is a bit wooden and its a quite daft in places. Overall pretty forgettable.
I did notice that the causeway to Osea island which is in the Blackwater Estuary just down river from Mersea was used to film the nine lives causeway to the Eel Marsh House.
