Watched this again last night this would definitely be in my list of top ten films ever.
Made in 1957 this fantastically well written film about 12 jurors discussing the verdict on a young man who has been accused of murdering his father. As it is a murder case the jury has to return a unanimous verdict and just one man says he believes he is not guilty.
Gradually get to know these men and it is brought to light that some of the jurors have made their decision on prejudices, some of them have not questioned the evidence given to them and some of them just vote with the rest of the crowd just so they can get it over with. It is fascinating to watch as these men, some with stubborn, belligerent and indiffrent attitudes are persuaded to change ther minds.
If you haven’t seen it watch it and you have seen it, watch it again!
