Had an afternoon out with the Corkys a couple of weeks ago and we went to see Captain Phillips.
The true story of Captain Richard Phillips, who was taken hostage by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean during the Maersk Alabama hijacking in 2009.
An extremely well made film by Paul Greengrass. This could have been sensationalised but it seems to be a really good adaptation of Phillips book. Tom Hanks is amazing, he is deserving of the Oscar but will they give it to him a third time?
