Simon, an art auctioneer, helps with a theft of a painting from his own auction house. When one of the raiders Franck tries to take the painting, Simon attacks him but gets a blow to the head that leaves him with amnesia. When Franck gets home, he discovers that the package contains only an empty frame. Franck and his buddys then torture Simon, but he has no memory of where he has hidden the painting, so Franck decides to hire a hypnotherapist to try and help him remember.
I’m a fan of Danny Boyles films but this is rubbish. The story is ridiculous, very little happens until the final fifteen minutes and that’s not even worth waiting for. Poorly written and boring. Don’t bother.
