After surviving the Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta return to District 12. They are now required to take a victory tour of the country. During the tour Katniss witnesses the brutal suppression of the people and by her very presence causes further rebellions. President Snow declares there will be new Hunger Games and this time the competitors are to be drawn from the survivors of the Games in a bid to get rid of Katniss.
Its a very good adaptation of the book in fact its probably a bit too close to the book because I almost felt as though I was watching it again rather that the first time. When I read the first book and watched the film it felt fresh and gripping and this one although good, doesn’t quite match up to the first.
Its good, but it feels like its repeating itself.
