Where was shaun?

I would imagine that most of the readers of this blog have already seen this but I’ll plough on regardless. I’m not much of a fan of F1, but this is the true story of the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 Formula One motor-racing season. James hunt’s party lifestyle and raw talent pitted against Niki Lauda’s methodical and almost clinical approach makes this a fascinating watch.

Its a well made film, Daniel Bruhl is really good as Lauda and it looks great. Well worth watching in blu-ray.

Murray Walker is this weeks guest on Desert Island Discs. A fascinating interview of a lovely bloke who became good friends with James Hunt when Hunt was commentating. He says that “James hunt and I were like oil and water” and also says, anything you have heard or read about James Hunt pales into insignificance compared to what he was really like.
