Went on a bit of Norwegian film fest last week.
Watched Headhunters again which is must watch awesome thriller/action film. I also watched another Jo Nesbo Film “Jackpot”which is ok but not particularly good.
And lastly, I watched a brand new film “In Order of Disappearance” starring Stellan Skarsgård. He plays Nils a snow plough driver who’s son dies, supposedly of a heroin overdose. Nils knows his son wasn’t an addict and finds out the local drug gang is behind the crime. He hunts down the killers and kills both of them, but not before they confess. Next he goes after their boss, and discovers he has caused a turf war…
I really enjoyed this. Its aiming in the same direction as Fargo, black comedy, very cold with violence. Probably not to everyones taste but if you like the Coen brothers films then you’ll probably like this.
