Just catching up on the last few weekends.
The first weekend in June we went to the Aldham Rally, a local Classic vehicle show. The money raised goes to the local scout group and K was helping out. We camped, had a few beers and I went for a spin in Richards Capri which was very cool. We also went to the Open gardens at Wakes Colne. it was a lovely day and we treated dad to cake to celebrate his birthday, followed by a barbie in the evening.
She just cant resist pulling a face when a camera points at her – daft apeth!
The following weekend K was away on a camping weekend, it was pretty wet and dismal so Emma and I hung out, slept in the summerhouse and built a robot called Max. Hes not quite finished yet as you can see…
He needs some new legs. (Forrest gump voice)
This weekend has been equally busy, Saturday, we spent the afternoon getting ready for open gardens and in the evening we went to a 40th birthday party which Mark had thrown for his wife Emma. He did a fantastic job of setting it up in one of the poly-tunnels of his garden Nursery. There was a band playing, lots of booze, a barbecue and the kids were very happy as there was a bubble machine which kept them busy for ages!
Open gardens was very busy we did about 40 teas and cake and I reckon we had about 100 people visit the garden altogether.
I finished my Bird house on Saturday afternoon. Too late for the birds but ready for open gardens. Im very pleased with the copper roof.
