30 years on and agent k, a new replicant, is used to hunt down the older models. But while performing his extermination duties he finds something that shakes him to his core. Could his memories be real after all?
Denis villeneuve has made a film of astonishing beauty, even in this dark, grey city and ruined landscape. Every shot looks amazing. It’s most definitely not a clunky, cash in on a classic movie exercise.
Well acted, with goslings usual dead pan performance which just emphasis the stronger scenes and Ford, well he’s the best you can’t knock Harrison.
This film, even now, two days after seeing it is still haunting my consciousness as if my brain is struggling to write it all to my long term memory. My only criticism is the soundtrack which I found a but distracting in some scenes.
If you liked the original you will not be dissapointed. Go and see it, it’s got to be seen on a big screen.
