Since having Emma we have been visiting Colchester Castle Park quite often as its a great place to trundle, hang out and munch your lunch. Yesterday we had a lovely walk around the park and after we had done a bit of shopping we got some sarnies from the sandwich bar and sat by the duck pond and munched them. I had a warm bacon and brie butty and it was bloody gorgeous!
We planned to go to the flicks last night to see “Juno”, so we dropped Emma off with Chris and headed off. Less than an hour later we were enjoying a pre film pint in the Kings Arms, when Derek phones to tell us that Emma was in a right pickle, she’d been sick all over him and Chris and they couldn’t settle her.
We headed back to find a scene of devastation, Derek was in shock on the sofa having just got changed from his pukey trousers, Shellshocked Chris was still pukey as was crying Emma whose hair was sticking up more than usual due to pukey hair.
Emma soon calmed down and promptly fell asleep so we just put it down to the fact she got herself in a right pickle because she was in a different place and we had left her. Once we got her home and she was fine.
So Chris and Derek really sorry about that …….O.k for next Wednesday?! 🙂
