Walk along the Coastal path from Branscombe

This was a fabulous walk along the coastal path towards Beer. It was a really misty day, so we couldn’t enjoy the views but walking through the Hooken undercliff was fantastic. A slump in the chalk cliffs in 1790 has created a wooded and sheltered habitat for plants and wildlife. Walking it in the fog made us feel as though we were walking through a rain forest. It felt so Jurassic that I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a brontosaurus in the undergrowth!

A very happy Emma
