A few weeks ago we went to see “Goodnight Mr Tom” at the Theatre Royal in Bury St.Edmunds and had a really good night. So, last night we went to the theatre again, to see “Private Peaceful”. Such a moving play and What a fantastic performance by Andy Daniel, how he remembers all that dialogue I will never know.
Today it was the school bike ride at the airfield so we went as it will be Emma’s last one. It was really good, plenty of cake, although the kids seemed really small! I marshalled for an hour and got darned cold. Afterwards the Bates came back for tea it was so nice to have a warming sausage casserole!
