We went to see “Totem” at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday. It’s been years since we last saw Cirque de Soliel and it’s amazing how much the production has improved. I did feel that the show didn’t really convey a story as such and was mainly just a number of set pieces but it was still fantastic to watch and really good to see it at the Royal Albert Hall, a beautiful building close to its 150th year.
The theme of totem follows the human species from original amphibian state to ultimate desire to fly. Each set piece looks amazing and the scenes are set using this interactive floor projection.
