We’ve come up to Kirkby Lonsdale for a week in this cottage spread over 3 floors right in the village. So it’s really handy for shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
We’ve spent most of the week walking, poor Emma has been dragged off on lots of walks ranging from 6.5 to over 10 miles but she’s enjoyed “every step of the way”.
Ruskins View at Kirkby Lonsdale.
Busy day by the river – 21 stones!

The Gardens at Sizergh Castle
Sat on a trig point at Sellet Hall just south of Kirkby Lonsdale.
Had an awesome day climbing Ingleborough, the second highest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales. The weather was perfect although a bit blowy on the top,
Trig point on top of Ingleborough.
