A lonely German boy’s world view of the Second World War is turned upside down when he discovers his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their house. On getting to know her he questions his imaginary friend and his opinions.
We had a trip to the abbeygate in Bury to see this yesterday afternoon. We’ve been waiting to see this for ages to see this as we are massive fans of Taika Waititi’s “Hunt for Wilder People”. It definitely didn’t disappoint, well acted by the whole cast, particularly Roman Griffin Davis who plays this angry boy finding his way through his loyalties. A heartfelt story told with Taika’s goofiness!
