Mr Costner plays a serial killer egged on to kill by his sadistic alter ego Marshall (played by William Hurt) After an abstinence from murdering for a while Mr Brooks spends an enjoyable evening murdering some inncocent lovers but he his spotted by a voyeur across the street. The Voyeur then contacts Mr Brooks and rather than turning him in he wants to accompany him when he goes murdering again but Mr Brooks has other plans…
Its an enjoyable film, don’t expect too much from it, Costner and Hurt are really good and although the story is really out there, it keeps you entertained.
