Written and directed by Paul Haggis the maker of Crash. This is a film about a retired military police officer (Tommy Lee Jones) searching for his son who has gone awol who soon discovers that he has been murdered. As much as he wants to know what happened to his son the night he died, his real quest is to find out who his son was, and what happened to him in Iraq.
This is a really good whodunnit and it also it gives you a real insight into the effects of war on the soldiers.
Brilliant performances from Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron, don’t get this film too cheer yourself up but it is a thoroughly good watch
