Two cash strapped brothers organise the robbery of their parents jewellery store and it all goes horribly wrong.
The film goes back and forth in time many times, often showing scenes repeatedly and from various points of view. Told this way, I find, really engages you in the story and you find yourself thinking what would I do and you also find your opinion of the characters changing as it plays out.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman is brilliant and its directed by Sidney Lumet so for me the film had an older feel.
Well worth a watch, not too much wine beforehand though otherwise you’ll be lost!
