Japanese film about three sisters who have been estranged from both their parents. At their fathers funeral they meet their half-sister Suzo and on the spot they decide to ask her to live with them. What follows is no real drama just a lovely film in the presence of these girls as they get to know their sister and wonderful shots of rural Japan. A great film which I have seen described as ” a tonic for the soul.
