Chris Hemsworth plays “Rake” a black ops mercenary who has been hired to rescue the son of a jailed drug lord who has been kidnapped by Amir Asif Bangladesh’s biggest drug lord who controls the police and military.
As an action film this really ticks all the boxes. With amazing fight scenes and some great one shot sequences in the cramped streets and apartments of Dhaka it definitely reminded me of those fabulous choreographed scenes in John Wick.
I did feel that the Drug lord’s characters could have been developed a bit more and Amir Asif a bit more menacing (he reminded me of prince when he brought out the controversy album in the early ’80’s)
But this film is great entertainment and a definite must watch.
