Dad’s got fond memories of Summer holidays on Ty Celyn as a teenager. He spent his holidays helping out on the farm, milking the cows and herding the sheep. He enjoyed it so much that he considered going to agricultural college when he finished school.
He did share this fantastic story about an incident at the sheep dip!

Yes I was scared I’d been poisoned. However I was stuck in the iron bath in the kitchen and dunked again to get the horrible stuff out of my hair. Tell you I never lived it down as it was broadcasted around all north wales like bongo drums.xx
