When Laura’s husbands business started to take off she felt lonely and suspects he is having an affair. She turns to her likeable, impulsive father to find out the truth. As they start their investigations they soon find their issues with their own relationship.
Bill Murray is excellent as Laura’s eccentric, womanising father. I am not a huge Bill Murray film but Sofia Coppola does create characters which are perfect for him. If anyone else had played this role it wouldn’t have been any where near as enjoyable.
