Home alone

K went out last night to take part in a quiz at the school so I was home alone.

It was alright actually, it took me right back to my Flanders Field days. I cooked a chili while I read a book my dad lent me “The innocent man” by John Grisham which is brilliant and then I watched bad boys 2 (6/10) which was just good basic fun, fast cars corny lines gorgeous girls and lots and lots of guns. Then later I watched the Lunar eclipse until k came home lashed up and on a high (K slightly sloshed: We came shecond!) shortly after 11.

Other stuff from this week:

We have chosen our new kitchen at last.

Lianne had her scan on Friday all ok. Corky said it made it all very real (gulp gulp).

Went to see “Scenes of a Sexual Nature” on Wednesday.

I enjoyed it. It was a film of six different couples conversations on Hampstead Heath one sunny afternoon. One or two of the scenes were a bit odd. Although I did like the story of the old couple who had been visiting the park for thirty years, her on a Wednesday and he on a Thursday and they would sit on a bench and think about the the person they had met on the very same bench and dream about the relationship they could have had. On this day though. the lady got her day wrong and went on a Thursday by mistake and met the man who had also been sitting on the same bench every week for thirty years. They got talking and realised that they were the couple who had met on that bench all those years ago.
