We could have drownded!

We were woken up at 1.30am last Friday night by pheebs having a scrap in the back garden. After going down to see what was going on I got back in bed and K said whats that noise…..I lay there and thought …that’s dripping that is.
Went into the front bedroom and water was coming through the ceiling, which was sagging quite heavily, and going through the the floor and down into the lounge, missing the T.V by inches. Had a look upstairs and one of the pipes from the water tank had split. Fortunately I was able to repair it, but I didn’t get it done until nearly 4am and then I had to go to work. By the time I got back from work at 12.30 I was sooo tired I slept most of Saturday afternoon.

We’ve been here 10 years and it waits until 4 months before we were going to rip the tanks out for the new combi boiler. bah!

K was out on Saturday night so I watched “Lord of War” (Yawn 4/10)

On Sunday we just had a walk over to Colne Engaine to get Sunday goodies and in the afternoon I did some shed repairs in the snow showers. Spring is on hold.
