Do not be put off by the title or that this film is a Christmas themed Rom com. It stars Kristen Stewart (Abby) and Mackenzie Davis (Harper) who are a couple who have been together for sometime and Harper invites Abby to her parents house for Christmas. Abby sees this as the perfect time to get to know Harpers parents and to ask for her fathers permission to marry her daughter. However on the way to her parents Harper confesses that she has not come out to her parents yet. This puts Abby in a really awkward situation as she has to pretend she’s straight and not at all in love with Harper.
We really enjoyed watching the usual rom com story told from a different angle. Its a really funny story with great characters and well worth a watch.
