Alegria

Had a top weekend. Gray(ham) and Nina came round for tea on Saturday. We had a right good night, sat at the table chatting until nearly 1 am. They were telling us all about there trip 6 month trip to Australia and Canada (I so wanna go to Canada now).

On Sunday we went to the Albert Hall to see Cirque du Soleil “Alegria”. It is an amazing show. The choreography and the costumes are fantastic and the acrobats incredibly talented. A lot of the perfomances brought a lump to my throat as they were so amazing and beautiful to watch.

My favourites were the hand balancing, synchronised trapeze, power track (trampolinists) and the Russian bars. The contortionists were also amazing but also pretty scary I completely lost track of whose head was whose!

After the show we went for a pint and then an organic pizza at a restaurant on the Old Brompton Road. The drive home was good. I love driving through the city at night particularly along embankment, the view along the river is superb and we didn’t get lost once!
