Where was shaun?

Up fairly earlyish and got out on my bike, it was a lovely sunny morning, clear blue skies with a bit of a breeze.

The early signs of autumn are showing now, the Horse Chesnut trees are changing colour and shedding their conkers. It always take me back to when I was kid, collecting conkers. I still like to pick them up now, they are such a lovely colour and they feel so smooth.

I was cycling along a country road which passes an old house with a small wood along side and I spotted a hammock that the owners of the house must have put up. It must be great just lying there, with the sun on your face and listening to the wind in the trees.

On the way back I stopped at the shop in Colne Engaine and picked up some bacon and came home for a fry up, what a great way to start the day!
