Well its been a busy half-term, last weekend we met up with the Caples in London, taking the kids to the Science Museum On Sunday, followed by a lovely meal in the Queens Arms just around the corner from the Albert Hall. Monday we did a lovely walk around Kensington using the excellent “London’s Hidden Walks” by Stephen Millar. The walk took in some of the most prestigious areas of Kensington, passing Jimmy Page’s and Robbie Williams House and on to Holland park. We also visited Kensington Roof Gardens
which are amazing gardens, with mature trees and pink flamingos wandering around 6 floors up in the middle of London – very surreal!
Wednesday, we headed up to Buxton and stayed in a really nice cottage for a couple of nights. The weather was pretty poor but we explored the town and did a walk up-to Solomons Temple. Friday, we headed over to Bobs for the weekend. It was great to see them and really nice to just hang out. Thanks for a nice weekend guys,So Sorry we dragged you out into the snow!
Hatty & I hired some Boris bikes and had a spin around Hyde Park. Very cool and all for £2!
