We have now travelled up through the Rockies, through Banff, Jasper and we are now in Clearwater on the road to Vancouver.
The Rockies have been magnificent, absolutely unbelievable, despite some smoke in the atmosphere the views have been amazing
About 140 wildfires are burning across British Columbia at the moment due mainly to the unusually hot and dry summer.
Fortunately it hasnt affected us too much. Its just meant that we haven’t been able to have a barbie 🙁 and the views have been a bit hazy.
We have had some fantastic hikes, the trails here are amazing. Unfortunately though we havent seen any bears yet although there are warnings everywhere and some footpaths are closed in case of an encounter.
Canada is a fantastic country, you feel such freedom here free just to do exactly what you want and enjoy the surroundings.The Canadians are great, really friendly and SO laid back.
