Day Out In London

This weekend we had a random day out on London. No real plan just a bit of an amble about. First of all we went to Leake Street under Waterloo Station to see the current graffiti. Leake street Arches became what they are today after Banksy, back in 2008 invited artists to the arches stating that “‘Graffiti doesn’t always spoil buildings, in fact it’s the only way to improve a lot of them.”

AFter the Arches we walked up into Chring Cross and feeling hungry we popped into the Ship and Shovel for some lunch. What a great pub and so distinctive as it is actually on both sides of the alley and is linked by a (staff only) tunnel underneath that also contains the kitchen and cellars.
