Dean Koontz – The Good Guy

Good GuyI have been reading Dean Koontz for about 25 years now and I still enjoy his books.
The Good Guy’ begins when stone mason Tim Carrier is sitting in a bar having a beer when he is approached by a stranger who mistakes him for someone else – a contract killer. Not realising this at the time, Tim plays along with this but is then left with an envelope containing $10,000 and a photo and information about the intended target. Tim then meets the real hitman, pretends to be the first guy and gives him the cash but tells him that the job is off.The hit man however is pretty keen and decides to go after Tim and the target, Linda Parquett.

Its a good tense read, it kept me up until 1am a couple of nights this week!

7/10

If anyone wants it, let me know and I’ll post it to you, I’ve got too many books!
