When we went to Lindsey & Neil’s party to mark the start of their adventure on their canal boat we met Kate, who owns Harris & Harris bookshop in Clare. During the pandemic her shop has obviously been closed so we ordered a number of books from her and tonight we went & picked them up.
We decided to make an afternoon/evening of it so we made a picnic and after we picked up our books we walked from Clare to Poslingford where we sat in the churchyard and had our picnic and walked back. It was a really lovely evening. No more Amazon for us!
