Written and directed by Alex Garland, this film tells the story of Caleb, a programmer who works for Bluebook, the worlds most powerful search engine, who is invited by Nathan, his CEO, to administer the Turing test to Ava, a humanoid robot. Caleb is fascinated and excited by the task but can the eccentric Nathan or Ava be trusted?
Loved this film, it took me a couple of days to shake the tense almost claustrophobic feeling this film creates.
An intelligent script with fantastic performances all round make this film a classic not to be missed.
