We went to Felixtowe (town) about 20 years ago and I remember thinking this is rubbish and haven’t returned since (it was the fatties on the prom and bearded lady in the chippie that put me off!). However, last weekend we met up with the Spurgeons and went to the coast by the old part of the town and did a really nice walk on the seawall looking out over the Deben and it was actually really quite nice!
After the walk we went to the Ferry Cafe for a spot of lunch. Very cool place, very retro, with vinyl records on the wall. K and I had Fish and chips but the Spurgeons had a burgers and they looked a-mazin!
