Concentrating on Neil Armstrong’s life in between 1961 and 1969 this film tells the story of Armstrong’s grief for his daughter as he trains to be the commander of Apollo 11.
A great performance from Ryan Gosling who doesn’t overplay his part as the stoical, restrained Armstrong. Definitely worth a watch on a proper movie night and I really recommend a back to back watch of this and Apollo 13.
